WASHINGTON, DC (February 13, 2012) – Lifetime is set to air a two-hour special edition of its pioneering crime-fighting series "America’s Most Wanted" that will focus on the rampant global problem of sex trafficking on Friday, February 24th, at 9:00pm ET/PT. Hosted by John Walsh, the special will take on one of the most illicit and overlooked crimes known to affect millions of women and children in the U.S. and across the globe. The special comes on the heels of last week’s capture of a Georgia mother featured on the December 16 episode of "America’s Most Wanted" for allegedly selling her two young daughters for sex.

 “Of all the people wanted for the most heinous crimes you could ever imagine, those involved in sex trafficking are some of the worst kinds of individuals ever to exist,” said Walsh. “They need to be stopped immediately and with the help of our Lifetime viewers, we’re going to put some of these sorry excuses for human beings away for a long time.”
