*TL G. in Texas writes:

US victim assistance, especially for domestic minors sex trafficking victims has been repeadedly stalled. There are groups trying to establish safe houses all across the country and provide leadership to the movement. They are struggling the with establishment protocols and funding streams due to many complicated factors that vary from state to state. What leadership role can this forum take in calling for a coordinated effort across the federal and state levels that work with public/private ventures in practical ways? Posted on Thu Feb 03, 2011

*Richard S. in Michigan writes:

My family and I certainly echo and reiterate what TL G. from Texas had posted on Thursday Feb. 3, 2011, in response to this event.

As victims ourselves, since March 16, 2007, of domestic minor sex trafficking, we tirelessly worked together with the State of Michigan to prosecute the drug-dealer who provided the narcotics causing the death of our 17-year old great granddaughter, granddaughter, daughter, sister and niece including our accepting an out-of-court settlement with the strip-club who knowingly hired Stephanie as a minor.

At the federal level, I have personally sat with Madam Secretary Hilda Solis of the Department of Labor and told our family’s tragic story about how Stephanie was trafficked within the blink of an eye and the last few days of her life.

Therefore, I too would like to know, “What leadership role can this forum take in calling for a coordinated effort across the federal and state levels that work with public/private ventures in practical ways?” Especially when our family has started two-nonprofits “Stephanie’s Place” and “AhEeCOSH – Adult Entertainment Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health” to help the U.S. end/stop human trafficking – modern/day slavery!

Thank you for your due diligent consideration and anticipated response.

Respectfully, Richard A. S., PD/PI Posted on Sun Feb 06, 2011

Richard A. Sands, PD/PI Background and Bio!

Richard worked as an apprentice, journeyman and master electrical-electronic troubleshooter in major manufacturing and process automation industries for over 14-years while continuing his education in Liberal Arts.

In November 2001, while finishing his undergraduate degrees at Madonna University in Pre-Law and Criminal Justice, Richard investigated two homicide cases with multiple victims.  It was the beginning of his journey into the shadows of prostitution, drugs and the adult entertainment industry.

Richard has and currently continues to work closely with the victim’s families during his investigations and throughout the entire legal process including any appeals or parole hearings.  Working for both sides of the isle, at times, whether his investigation is focused on the defense or prosecution there are victims and above all else, the truth is always what leads us to justice.

March 16, 2007, Stephanie Brown, Richard’s 17-year old granddaughter, died of a fatal drug-overdose after being hired at a local strip-club where two patrons (a volunteer basketball coach and an ordained minister) including a dancer at the club told Stephanie she could make $3,000.00 (Three-Thousand) dollars to help them make a girl-on-girl porn video at a motel down the street.

The State of Michigan and Richard’s family successfully prosecuted the drug-dealer and later settled out-of-court with the strip-club for employing an underage person for sex-work; however, Richard continues to pursue other legal issues and criminal investigations regarding the case at local, state and federal levels including international law.

Richard is the President/CEO and Board of Directors Chairman, for two non-profit organizations “Stephanie’s Place” a faith-based group and “AhEeCOSH” the “Adult Entertainment Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health” group.  Richard continues to work with the victims, their families and other organizations including local, state and federal government levels to enact new ordinances, regulations or standards and laws to help protect our nations workers health and safety, equal protection and due process rights within the United States and aboard from the ongoing criminal enterprises of human – modern day slavery and drug trafficking.

AhEeCOSH Recommends H.R.483 (2011) To Be Cited As!
"Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification and
Anti-Human Trafficking Control Act"

H.R.483 (2011)  - To create an electronic employment eligibility verification system... thank you and yes, God has Blessed America indeed. Here is why, the foundation for this bill H.R.483 has already been built upon solid ground or a platform called E-Verify; however, it is currently used as we understand only for public/government contractor/sub-contractor and employees/employers etc., at present. H.R.483 shall when (and the sooner the better) as enacted into federal law, document and E-Verify all workers in the United States without exception. Thus as stated above and below, H.R.483 will and/or shall indeed "Help U.S. End/Stop Human Trafficking - Modern/Day Slavery"...

Therefore, I do hereby and herein respectfully request/comment for a full and complete congressional co-sponsorship and support of H.R.483 as introduced by the Honorable Representatives Peter DeFazio-OR, Larry Kissell-NC and Mike McIntyre-NC on or about January 26, 2011.

3 Petitions Helping US End/Stop Human Trafficking – Modern/Day Slavery!
These three (3) petition briefs are indeed from very the beginning, middle and/or end to help stop human trafficking and provide all American workers a Safe and Healthy workplace without exception!

The first one asks the basic question how can, do or will we stop human trafficking when some of our elected officials are not enforcing the law and thereby violating public policy enacted to protect the citizenry from known “Secondary Negative Effects” of Adult Entertainment.

The second one addresses an example of said “Secondary Negative Effects” causing death when our elected officials are not enforcing the law and thereby violating public policy enacted to protect the citizenry from unregulated Adult Entertainment Establishments. help_us_endstop_human_trafficking_together_hands_holding_stephanie

The third one is an answer, a real blessing and the resolution to both the first two petitions asking for change that this bill will indeed as follows H.R. 483: To create an electronic employment eligibility verification system to ensure that all workers in the United States are legally able to work, and for other purposes. Amen and I say again Amen, So Mote It Be! Here is why, the foundation has already been built on a solid platform called E-Verify; however, it is used only for public employees/employers at present. H.R. 483 shall when enacted (the sooner the better) into law it will document and E-Verify all workers in the United States without exception. Thus H.R. 483 will indeed “Help U.S. End/Stop Human Trafficking – Modern/Day Slavery” indeed_our_gov_is_to_help_us_endstop_human_trafficking_will_you

Please help get the word out-there in cyberspace for the whole wide world to see, read and understand that we all need to work together as one force to help fight against these horrific crimes against humanity around the entire planet.

Respectfully, I ask again please help, sign these petitions and repost the message for all our families’ sake without question or exception. Bless you all everyone and thank you as always with warm regards.
