Jacob's Story is a mini-documentary about a man that once made his living by trafficking women & children for the purposes of commercial sex

Repeating, reposting and sharing: Jacob's Story is a mini-documentary about a man that once made his living by trafficking women & children for the purposes of commercial sex.  Jacob worked as a trafficker for a crime syndicate in Johannesburg South Africa. We decided to release his story because of how raw it is. In this film, he speaks openly about his work as a brothel manager and he explains how syndicates all over the world operate as they exploit the weak and powerless. Most importantly, you'll hear about the life transformation that's taken place in Jacob's life. From trafficker to rescuer. Only in the Kingdom of God.  Jacob is living proof that when the Gospel changes the hearts of men; everything changes.

Indeed, "I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak"

Repeating, reposting and sharing Dan Russell

It's Ash Wednesday ... a religious observance when some people supposedly repent of their sins ... Jesus said of "religion", "Hypocrites! These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with your lips, but your heart is far from Me, and in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of man." - Matthew 15:7-9

Richard A. Sands Thank you Brother Russell:

(Nehemiah 1:4) 4 So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

(Ephesians 6:12-20) 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-- 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Repeating, Reposting and Sharing: LIFETIME TO AIR TWO-HOUR "AMERICA'S MOST WANTED" SPECIAL ON SEX TRAFFICKING ON FEBRUARY 24
On the heels of last week’s capture of a mother who allegedly made money selling her children for sex, John Walsh to take on fast-growing criminal industry by profiling individuals wanted in connection with rampant spread of modern-day slavery
WASHINGTON, DC (February 13, 2012) – Lifetime is set to air a two-hour special edition of its pioneering crime-fighting series "America’s Most Wanted" that will focus on the rampant global problem of sex trafficking on Friday, February 24th, at 9:00pm ET/PT. Hosted by John Walsh, the special will take on one of the most illicit and overlooked crimes known to affect millions of women and children in the U.S. and across the globe. The special comes on the heels of last week’s capture of a Georgia mother featured on the December 16 episode of "America’s Most Wanted" for allegedly selling her two young daughters for sex.
“Of all the people wanted for the most heinous crimes you could ever imagine, those involved in sex trafficking are some of the worst kinds of individuals ever to exist,” said Walsh. “They need to be stopped immediately and with the help of our Lifetime viewers, we’re going to put some of these sorry excuses for human beings away for a long time.”

The Quest to End Child Trafficking

http://www.odysseynetworks.org/video/the-quest-to-end-child-trafficking
Leaders across the faith spectrum — with the Salvation Army leading the way -- have been working to protect and assist victims and eradicate child trafficking. "Stopping the exploitation of our youth is a moral imperative that unites people across the faith spectrum, across the religion spectrum," says Valarie Kaur, director of Groundswell, a multifaith initiative that aims to inspire strategic action for justice.

These pages provide highlights of The Salvation Army's efforts to eradicate human trafficking. The Salvation Army firmly believes that the abuse and exploitation of human beings through any form of human trafficking is an offense against humankind and against God. This belief, combined with our mission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination, motivates us to work vigilantly for the prevention of human trafficking and for the restoration of survivors.
